Easy Turmeric Face Packs For Common Skin Problems


Turmeric is loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits, which is why it is one of the most commonly used ingredients for skin care. Turmeric can be used to prepare face packs to address a variety of skin issues. Check out these easy skincare recipes that you can try out with turmeric for treating some of the most common skin problems:


Want to treat acne with easy homemade remedy? Mix a tbsp sandalwood powder with a few crushed cloves and make a paste using rosewater. Add a pinch of turmeric to this paste and apply on face, focussing on the blemishes. Wash off after it dries. This pack works wonders for acne. You may experience a mild burning sensation on account of the presence of cloves.



Does your skin feel dull and dry? May be it is not getting its daily dose of hydration. Mix 2 tsp honey with ¼ tsp turmeric powder, make a paste and apply on face. Wash off after 15-20 minutes. Honey is a natural moisturizer that helps hydrate skin. Turmeric imparts a healthy glow to your complexion.



Oily skin often turns greasy and attracts dirt and other impurities. To get that fresh and clean look, if you are looking for an easy remedy for controlling sebum, you just need some gram-flour, turmeric and yoghurt. Mix a tsp yoghurt with 2 tsp gram flour and ½ tsp turmeric. Apply on face and wash off with cold water after half an hour. This packs is great for oily skin.



This pack is perhaps one of the easiest to concoct. Combine a tbsp milk with ½ tsp turmeric powder. Add some olive oil to it. Apply this easy pack to hydrate dry skin.



Combine a tsp organic honey with 2 tsp fresh milk and a few crushed mint leaves. Add ½ tsp turmeric powder. Use it at least twice every week to keep your skin healthy and glowing.
