Jovees Ayurveda Rosemary And Brahmi Hair Revitaliser: Review

BY SOMREETA MUKHERJEE

Considering that I have been suffering from hair fall, itchy scalp, dandruff, dull hair and scalp acne for the last ten years, I have always been in need of a hair vitalizer, suitable for regular use. It is required to take care of my hair on a daily basis. Apart from pollution, hectic lifestyle, hormonal issues and stress factors, lack of time to devote for hair care everyday is yet another factor contributing to my hair problems. So, here goes my review of a water-based hair vitalizer that has been my latest purchase. Read on!

PRODUCT BEING REVIEWED– Jovees Ayurveda Rosemary And Brahmi Hair Revitaliser

WHAT DOES THE JOVEES AYURVEDA WEBSITE CLAIM?

“DETAILS

A special water based therapeutic formulation which is developed through scientific processes, using rich blend of natural ingredients that deeply penetrates into the scalp to help repair and arrest hair fall, helps restore health of hair by strengthening its roots, improve hair volume.

METHOD OF USE

Wash hair with Jovees Hair and Scalp Cleanser and then on dry hair apply hair revitaliser into the scalp with the applicator and gently rub with finger tips. Leave on. Apply twice daily, after bath and at night before going to sleep.”

MY EXPERIENCE:

This light-weight, water-based hair vitalizer comes in a plastic packaging with a convenient applicator nozzle that makes the application process easy. It enables you to reach the scalp, underneath the hair shafts and pour in the liquid, without having to take the help of cotton swab or the hassle of dispensing the product in a bowl. You just need to drizzle the required amount on scalp and massage gently with finger tips.

It imparts a soothing effect to the scalp and reduces itchiness or irritation. At the same time, it is non-sticky and non-greasy, which is why, it doesn’t weigh down the hair strands post application. It can be easily applied twice a day and there’s no need to wash hair after applying it. It helps arrest hair fall to some extent, though it doesn’t  provide any permanent solution to the hair fall issue (I have used a bottle of the Jovees Ayurveda hair vitalizer, I don’t know if it would be beneficial in treating hair fall when used over a longer period of time).

FINAL WORD

Jovees Ayurveda Rosemary And Brahmi Hair Revitaliser is a non-sticky formula, suitable for every hair and scalp type (including oily scalp). It helps treat itchy scalp, irritation and hair fall issues. Rating would be 4 out of 5.

I liked this product but would however, like to stick to my affordably priced Bioique Bio Mountain Ebony Serum, a staple product on my shelf for the last three years almost.
