Good Vibes Neem and Tulsi Gel: Review

BY SOMREETA MUKHERJEE

I have been using quite a few products from Good Vibes recently, and frankly speaking, I am satisfied with most of them. of late, I tried out a range of gels from Good Vibes, considering they were on discounted prices at Purplle.com. Today I am going to review Good Vibes Neem and Tulsi Gel in this post:

I have oily skin, prone to rashes and acne. That is the reason I love to soothe my skin with gel-based products. When I read the product description, I thought it would be wonderful for my skin.

Priced at Rs 215 for 100g, it’s often available at discounted prices on Purplle.com. It’s also available in packaging of 50g and 300g. It comes in a plastic tub, brown in colour, with a label that has all the relevant information printed on it. it has a golden coloured screw cap and an extra plastic shield, white in colour, is provided to stop leakage of any sort. This cool, transparent, greenish gel has a thick texture. Once you apply on skin, it’s absolutely light-weight.

While I was expecting a herbal scent from this neem-tulsi gel, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t have any. On the contrary, it has a strong, perfume like smell. I like it but it can be strong enough to induce headache if you have a sensitive nose.

It can be used in a variety of ways for skin and hair. Either you can apply directly on your skin and your scalp, or you can mix it with other ingredients to make a face/hair mask.

USING GOOD VIBES NEEM AND TULSI GEL ON FACE/SKIN:

  • Just scoop out the desired quantity and apply it on face and neck, after cleansing and toning. It gets absorbed in a jiffy and doesn’t leave any residue behind. It’s best kept in the refrigerator and applying it cold will instantly soothe your skin.
  • Alternately, you can mix it with ingredients like rosewater and multani mitti to make an anti-blemish face pack. Apply on face, wait for 20-30 minutes and wash off.

USING GOOD VIBES NEEM AND TULSI GEL ON HAIR/SCALP:

Scoop out the desired amount and apply directly on scalp. Massage gently. Wait for 30-40 minutes. Wash off with plain water and then shampoo.

Alternately, mix it with aloe vera gel and a few drops of your favourite essential oil. use it as a hair mask for soft, nourished hair.
