Pears Pure And Gentle Shower Gel (With Pure Glycerin): Review

BY SOMREETA MUKHERJEE

Winters, during my childhood days, would be so closely associated with Pears glycerin soap.  I was therefore ecstatic to discover that Pears shower gel is now available in a similar packaging that looks like a huge bar of soap containing liquid glycerin inside. Today I would like to review Pears Pure and Gentle Shower Gel (with pure glycerin) in this post:

INGREDIENTS

Water sodium laureth sulphate, Lauryl glucoside, glycerin, perfume, citric acid, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, allantoin, benzophenon-3, CI19140, CI17200
Priced at Rs 180 for 250 ml, this orange honey-coloured liquid with a thick, gel-like texture and runny consistency comes in a transparent plastic packaging that’s unique in its own way. It has a flip-open cap and a twisted, hook-like provision that allows you to hang the bottle conveniently.

I use it at shower-time. I pour the desired amount on a wet loofah and rub my skin clean. It lathers abundantly and cleanses well. It doesn’t make the skin feel dry.

PEARS PURE AND GENTLE SHOWER GEL (WITH PURE GLYCERIN): PROS

  • Soap-free formula that’s gentle on the skin
  • Affordable price
  • Suits every skin type and can be used comfortably in both summer and winter
  • Doesn’t make skin dry
  • Lathers abundantly
  • Allows you to hang the bottle to the rack or hook
  • Mild and pleasant fragrance

PEARS PURE AND GENTLE SHOWER GEL (WITH PURE GLYCERIN): CONS

  • Packaging looks good but might be a bit difficult to handle on account of its size, especially if your bathroom rack is small
  • Fragrance doesn’t last long

FINAL WORD

An excellent, budget-friendly, non-drying and soap-free shower gel, Pears Pure and Gentle Shower Gel (with pure glycerin) is highly recommended. Rating would be 4.5 out of 5.
