HOW I USE SOULFLOWER COLDPRESSED CASTOR CARRIER OIL

  • Since this oil is thick and I have oily scalp and limp hair, I prefer mixing it with coconut oil in equal quantity while applying on hair and scalp.
  • I don’t use it on my skin, although a lot is said about the benefits of oil cleansing method for oily, acne-prone skin. Instead I use it for nourishing my nail, treat cracked feet and also soften dry patches.

SOULFLOWER COLDPRESSED CASTOR CARRIER OIL: PROS

  • Helps soften hair and nourish it from within
  • Heals dryness of scalp
  • Reduces dandruff problem
  • Affordably priced at Rs 350 for 225 ml (I had bought it at Rs 300)
  • Decent packaging, no leakage problem
  • Helps soften dry patches on skin
  • Known to promote hair growth
  • Helps heal cracked heels and lips

SOULFLOWER COLDPRESSED CASTOR CARRIER OIL: CONS

  • I find it quite heavy for my hair and skin
  • The quantity of oil I use is so little that a lot of product was still left even as it approached expiry date
  • I find 225ml a bit too much, I would like it if Soulflower would offer 50ml and 100ml packs too (I am not sure if such packs are available)
  • Haven’t seen much about the hair growth promise

FINAL WORD

An excellent oil, if you have no issues with thick texture, Soulflower Coldpressed Castor Carrier Oil is something you must have on your shelf for hair care and skin care purposes. Rating would be 4.5 out of 5.
