Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula (with Vitamin E) Foot Magic Review

BY SOMREETA MUKHERJEE

Winter months are often marked by dryness of feet and cracked heels. That is why I think this is the best time to review this Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula (with Vitamin E) Foot Magic. Check it out:

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula (with Vitamin E) Foot Magic comes in a sturdy, opaque, white-coloured tube packaging with a flip top cap. The nozzle helps dispense the required amount of product conveniently.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula (with Vitamin E) Foot Magic is somewhat pale yellow in colour and has the consistency of a gel (almost jelly-like). It’s thick and has oil like feel (non-sticky yet slightly greasy) once it is spread on the foot. In fact, it leaves a thin film of oil on the feet post application. It contains peppermint oil but the fragrance isn’t overpowering on the senses. I generally apply it at night and wear a pair of socks before going to sleep. When I wake up, feet feel soft and hydrated.

PALMER’S COCOA BUTTER FORMULA (WITH VITAMIN E) FOOT MAGIC PROS

  • Affordable at Rs 375 for 60g
  • Sturdy tube packaging
  • Thick, gel-like formula that is easy to apply
  • Helps hydrate dry feet
  • Softens feet when applied regularly.
  • Treats mild cracks in a jiffy
  • Mild aroma of peppermint oil

PALMER’S COCOA BUTTER FORMULA (WITH VITAMIN E) FOOT MAGIC CONS

  • Somehow I expected it to have the aroma of shea butter/ cocoa butter or at least something remotely akin to mango butter
  • I couldn’t experience much of a cooling effect
  • Regular application is required to see marked difference in the texture of skin or to repair severely cracked heels

FINAL WORD

A decent product from the house of Palmer’s, the Foot Magic formula is good for a regular foot care programme. It helps soothe feet, making them soft and moisturised. Rating would be 4 out of 5.

However, given an option, I would like to repurchase the Fabindia Foot cream instead of this one because I find that one more effective on cracks and dry patches of my feet.
