Taste Of Yauatcha

A steaming cup of tea has always been like a liquid hug for my brain and i feel there is nothing a good cup of tea can’t solve.Tea has an integral part in our lives,be that during the adda sessions or after a tiring day.

Chinese tea drinking culture, or yum cha may differ slightly from region to region, but the essence remains the same.

Tea is extremely good for digestion and is great when paired with dimsums and bao’s. Drawing from this concept, Yauatcha was born as an accessible fine dining space that reflects the spirit of a modern day tea house and fuses it with Chinese cuisine and mixology.

We city bloggers had a great time enjoying the Taste Of Yauatcha menu with some of the signature dishes with a special blend of tea which beautifully acts as a prelude to the refreshing menu.

Accompanied by a steaming pot of fragrant Darjeeling tea, this five course menu will be served Monday to Friday between 12pm and 4pm with an option of vegetarian or regular andcomprises of soup, salad, dim sum, stir-fry and a dessert.

You can Start off the set course meal with the light but wholesome Asian green soup with tofu for the vegetarians and chicken for the meat lovers followed by our signature crunchy Mixed salad with lotus root. At Yauatcha a meal is incomplete without the famous dim sum and you can choose two baskets from a myriad of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options such as the Shiitake mushroom dumpling, Chicken char sui bun and Har gau that are intricately wrapped and freshly prepared by Yauatcha’s skilled dim sum chefs every day. Signatures – Szechuan mabo tofu, Braised chicken with mushroom in claypot and Stir-fry kam heyong lamb is accompanied with Steamed Jasmine rice – celebrate the flavours that Yauatcha is known for.

And to finally end the meal on sweet note you must try the much loved chocolate pebble and the Red fruit Fromage.
