They say you either love sushi or hate it.But if you are at Pa Pa Ya ,you will surely fall in love with their sushis.

After its beaming success in the country Pa Pa Ya finally comes to the city of joy and how excited are we to welcome the newest place in town with some incredible asian food and not to forget the breathtaking 360 degree view of oir beloved city.Located at Park Street this Modern Asian Bistro can be best described as a ‘Chic, Modern and Radical’ reinterpretation of Asian cuisine to revolutionise the pan-Asian dining experience through the assimilation of various cooking techniques and cultures found across the Asian continent. The main focus is on OMAKASE food and exclusive spirits with a range of finest Whisky and Asian centric wines.

Speaking on the occasion, Zorawar Kalra, Founder & Managing Director, Massive Restaurants Pvt. Ltd., said, “Pa Pa Ya is a fun and ‘high energy dining’ concept that encapsulates all the five senses into the dining experience. It is a huge fun high energy dining space that overlooks the two iconic bridges of Kolkata. The philosophy behind Pa Pa Ya is simple – present Asian cuisine paired with Asian centric spirits twist. This is done through a mix of cutting edge cooking techniques like molecular gastronomy & mixology, which has been used throughout the menu wherever it genuinely adds value, in a sense for it to be a combination of art and science.”

We city bloggers were recently invited for a sunday brunch at this beautiful property and we had the timenof our life, eating sushi and sipping sangria.

The sunday brunch at Pa Pa Ya is an experience where you sit down ,relax and unwind as unlimited food gets served at your table. We started our meal with a palette cleanser which was a beauty on its own.Next it was time for us to try out their signature sushis and we went for the California Roll and Spicy Tuna. The gyoza came next and i must say it was a beautiful mix of flavours and we couldn’t help calling out for another portion of the gyoza. We also tried the grilled chicken and avocado taco( gyoza sheet shells, china mai grated mozzarella cheese),Pla Samrot Gung ( prawn tossed with three flavoured sauce) , Chilli hoisin Duck Dog (duck hot dog ,filled with barbequed dick and fish flakes). The pla samrot is a must try according to me.For mains we tried the Gong Bao Prawns and wok fired sichuan ,sun dried chillis and bamboo shoot.

We ended our meal with the signature Chocolate Ball on fire and it was a perfect sweet ending to beautiful sunday brunch.

Pa Pa Ya definitely offers an unique gastronomical experience and is the place to be to try out some of the best sushis and other asian delicacies in town while soaking in the beautiful view of the cityscape.
