Top 3 Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Masks To Treat Dandruff


Using Apple Cider Vinegar (or ACV as we call it) in combination with other potent ingredients in the form of hair masks and hair potions is perhaps one of the best ways to address the problem of dandruff.   • HONEY-ACV HAIR MASK: Mix ½ cup warm water, 1/3 cup ACV and 3tablespoon raw honey together and pour in a spray bottle. Shake well and spray the solution thoroughly on scalp and hair. Wear a shower cap and leave on for 20 minutes. Shampoo as usual. This mask helps supply your hair with vitamins and minerals like magnesium, manganese and calcium. ACV, combined with honey, is an effective cure for dandruff. This treatment, done once every week would be surely helpful.
  • ACV-OLIVE OIL-TEA TREE HAIR MASK: In a spray bottle, add a cup of water, ¼ cup ACV, 6-7 drops of tea tree oil and ½ teaspoon olive oil. Add a tablespoon lemon juice as well. Shake well and apply on hair and scalp. Cover your hair with shower cap. Wait for half-an-hour and shampoo our hair. Do it twice every week to treat dandruff and stop it from reoccurring. All the ingredients used in the mask, namely olive oil, lemon juice and tea tree oil are excellent remedies for dandruff. This mask has antimicrobial properties to treat itchiness of scalp and remove flakes. The hydrating properties of olive oil help retain moisture content and don’t let your hair get dry in course of dandruff treatment.
  • FENUGREEK-ACV HAIR MASK: Grind 3 tablespoons of soaked fenugreek seeds and mix it with a tablespoon of ACV. Apply the mixture on hair and scalp. Leave in for 20 minutes. Rinse well. Use it every alternate day if you are suffering from severe dandruff. When the dandruff is under control, use it once every week. This hair mask is not only effective in treating dandruff but is also great for treating hair fall and dull, lifeless hair.
