Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash Review

BY SOMREETA MUKHERJEE

It’s summer time and I have to find out what would suit my oily acne-prone skin best. Of late, I have invested in quite a few Biotique products, out of which, Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash is one. Since it is meant for Normal to Oily Skin and quite affordable at Rs 65 for 50 ml, I thought of trying it out. In this post I am going to review this face cleanser.

Priced at Rs 65 for 50 ml, Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash comes in a transparent tube packaging with broad label indicating instructions along with a screw cap. Somewhat yellowish white in colour, it has a runny consistency.

Though meant for normal to oily skin, I find it rather moisturizing for my skin, especially in hot humid summers of Kolkata. While it cleanses well, skin starts feeling oily within half-an-hour. I would prefer using it for my skin when the weather is cooler, less humid and less prone to sweat and oiliness.

Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash: Pros

  • Affordable at Rs 65 for 50 ml
  • Pleasant mild fruity smell, somewhat like pineapple
  • Contains natural ingredients and is organically pure
  • Cleanses face but doesn’t make it feel dry
  • Hygienic tube packaging

Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash: Cons

  • Is not well-suited for very oily skin, especially during summers
  • Tends to make skin oily in no time
  • No visible effect on blemishes

Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash: Final Word

It is an average product from the house of Biotique. However, if you have normal skin and you are looking for natural ingredients, you may give it a try. Rating would be 2.5 (for oily skin) and 3 (for normal skin) out of 5
