Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash Review

BY SOMREETA MUKHERJEE

I have oily acne-prone skin that tends to get greasy and dull in the summer season. I am always looking for effective face wash for cleansing dirt and grime off my skin. Recently, I laid my hands on Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash which I am going to review in this post.

Packaging and Price: Priced at Rs 110 for 100 ml, this green coloured gel-like Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash comes in a transparent plastic tube packaging with a green flip open cap.

My Experience with Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash

I use the face wash twice or thrice daily. I apply a coin sized amount on wet face and massage gently to form some decent lather. Then I wash it off and follow up with some toner. It cleanses dirt and oil generously but skin starts feeling oily soon after. The no-oil look lasts for only about half-an-hour or a maximum of 1 hour, depending upon how sultry the weather is.

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash: Pros

  1. Budget face wash which comes at Rs 110 for 100 ml.
  2. Cleanses dirt and oil effectively
  3. Has extracts of neem and turmeric
  4. Pleasant smell
  5. Easily available

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash: Cons

  1. Doesn’t control oil for long, face tends to get greasy soon after
  2. Has no significant effect on existing pimples and acne
  3. Doesn’t really help lessen break out

Final Word

An average product from the house of Himalay Herbals, this neem face wash doesn’t help treat pimples and acne on oily skin. I wouldn’t like to buy another tube of the same product; there are other brands that offer face wash that does a decent job at similar price. Rating would be 2.5 out of 5
