Packaging

It comes in an elegant golden packaging, which is quite attractive. It is a shiny tube with a black flip-open top cap, which is tight enough to make it travel-friendly. So, the right amount of product can be dispensed without any spillage.

Texture And Consistency

It has a soft and creamy texture with a slightly runny consistency. The fragrance is pleasant with a unique blend of floral, nutty smell blended with the notes of aromatic oil and yet, an artificial flavour is there.

My experience with L’Oreal Paris Hair Expertise 6 Oil Nourish Oil in Cream Oil Replacement Cream

At the outset, I must mention that I have normal to dry hair with extremely oily scalp, which is why quite often I suffer from scalp acne and sticky dandruff along with dull hair. (I have highlighted my hair, so I need a good conditioner for my hair to prevent dryness) I have to be extra careful with my hair care products too. Oil doesn’t suit me and that’s why, I need something sans the greasiness of oil yet with all the benefits of oiling.

That is why, I have tried using this cream oil as a pre-wash conditioning treatment. The post-wash treatment and the overnight treatment would be beneficial for normal to dry hair and scalp types. But with an oily scalp, I feel the pre-wash treatment suits me best.

I take the required amount and spread it along the length of my hair. I try to avoid the scalp though. However, a bit often gets in touch with the scalp and that does no harm. It neither drips nor does it feel greasy. After about 30 minutes, I wash off my hair. Initially it feels slippery and soon, hair feels soft and nourished. After shampooing, hair feels conditioned, smooth and less frizzy.

However, hair tends to turn limp the next day (as it is I have to shampoo my hair every alternate day due to oily scalp)
