Cooking is a daily affair and at times, it is tricky to find recipes that are uncomplicated yet tasty. For that easy cooking and rewarding experience, check out the top three one-pot pasta recipes that you might like to try out for lunch on one of those hectic days or a lazy Sunday noon.

ONE-POT PASTA IN TOMATO-BASIL SAUCE

In a pot, put around 350 grams fusilli pasta, two cups of chicken stock, a cup of diced tomatoes, 4-5 garlic cloves, one small sliced onion, a teaspoon dried oregano, 2 tablespoons basil leaves, salt and a tablespoon olive oil. Add some diced pepper too. Cover and cook on high flame for about 15 minutes. Once it starts boiling, cook for another 10 minutes on medium flame. Add 6 oz baby spinach and stir in. Turn off the flame, cover and let it be for about 15 minutes. Add some Parmesan Cheese freshly grated and slurp in! After just about 30 minutes of easy cooking in a single pot, what you get is delightful pasta, encrusted perfectly in succulent tomato and basil sauce. Serves 6!

CHICKEN PASTA SKILLET

If you are hunting for an easy yet cheesy chicken pasta recipe, try this hassle-free version of chicken pasta skillet that will become your family’s favourite in no time! Cook diced skinless chicken (500 grams) on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add one small (sliced) onion, salt and a green pepper, cut in long and thin strips. Cook for another 10 minutes. Add water. Once it starts boiling, add around three cups rotini pasta and cook till the pasta is tender. Stir in some 500 ml tomato sauce and top with a cup of shredded Mozarella Cheese. Let it simmer on low flame for another 5 minutes. The cheese melts to impart a luscious flavour to your one-pot meal.

ONE POT CREAMY PASTA WITH CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES

This easy and creamy pasta recipe will become an instant hit with your family. You are free to use vegetables already there in your kitchen. Carrots, peas, red bell pepper and broccoli are some of the vegetables you can use. Cut 500 g chicken into small cubes and set it aside by seasoning with salt and pepper. Now take a pan, heat olive oil and fry an onion, cut in small pieces, till they are tender. Add chicken and stir fry. Add a teaspoon shredded garlic and after a minute, add 2 ½ cup uncooked penne pasta. Pour in ½ cup water and two cups of chicken stock. Add vegetables, salt and let it boil. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes. Then, uncover and cook for another 5 minutes to ensure the water content is absorbed. Stir in some mozzarella cheese, cream cheese and Parmesan cheese. Once the cheese melts, garnish well with parsley and serve hot!
