Easy Smoothie Recipes For A Wholesome Breakfast


If you want to keep your breakfast simple yet healthy with fresh fruits, yoghurt, milk and nuts mixed in the most delicious and interesting way, smoothies are just the right choice for you. In today’s post, I am going to tell you about some of the easiest smoothie recipes that involve the use the most widely available fruits. They are yummy and wholesome. Check them out!


Smoothies for breakfast



Slice a large banana and put the pieces in a blender. Add 150 grams of vanilla yoghurt and a tablespoon of honey. Put ½ teaspoon ginger (grated) and blend well. This smoothie is a healthy way to start the day. Not only is it filling but it also helps soothe digestion and stomach problems.

Mix a cup of chopped sweet mango with a cup of low-fat yoghurt, 2-3 ice cubes and a tablespoon of honey. Blend all the ingredients together and blend until it is bubbly and smooth. This smoothie features in my list of all-time favourite summer smoothie recipes. A perfect way to enjoy summer with the most appetizing mango drink you can think of!

If we are really discussing summer fruits here in this post, how can we forget watermelons? To transform this exotic juicy summer fruit into a delightful smoothie, all you need is 2 cups of seedless watermelon chunks and ½ cup fat-free milk. Blend these two ingredients till smooth and then add a cup of ice. Blend again for about 15 to 20 seconds and enjoy it the first thing in the morning to gear up for the day!

Cut and peel two red and juicy apples. Do away with the seeds and put the apple chunks into the blender. Add a cup of yoghurt, a tablespoon of honey and a pinch of cinnamon. You may also add a few banana slices (optional). Blend until you get the desired smooth consistency and relish a tumbler of this sweet apple wonder drink.
