M.A.C Frost Eye Shadow Nylon~ Review and swatch

Hey all!

Shubho Bijoya! Hope you had a great Durga Puja.

Today, I shall be sharing a post on an eye shadow from the house of M.A.C  which happens to be one of the most versatile color and it is the M.A.C Frost eye shadow in the shade Nylon. Let’s jump right to the review then.

Product Description: Highly pigmented powder. Applies evenly, blends well. Can be used wet or dry. It is available in a wide variety of textures and finishes.

Price: 16$ (1.5 g / 0.05 US oz)

My take on the M.A.C Frost Eye Shadow Nylon: It has the usual M.A.C eye shadow packaging. A tiny circular tub with a flip top, which has the MAC logo printed on it. Like all the other eye shadows, this too has a sticker right at the bottom with the name and description mentioned on it. The tub is small in size thus making it travel friendly.

Color: OMG! This is one of my favourite shades. Nylon is a frosty beige/pale gold in icy shimmer that reflects light in the most beautiful way. I love the versatility of this color. I use it as an eye shadow off course, but it can be used for highlighting brow bones and in the inner corner of the eyes that instantly brightens me up.

Texture: Soft formula with no grittiness at all. It glides over the eyelids smoothly like a gentle breeze. There is absolutely no chalky feeling to it. It is crease resistant as well.

Pigmentation: It goes opaque in two swipes as seen on the hand swatch below. It has a semi sheer coverage in a single swipe that is equally stunning if you don’t prefer full opacity.

Staying power: It stays for 4 to 5 hours on me without primer. It will last longer if you use a primer prior application.

Cute packaging

Easy to blend

Great opacity

Stunning color

Universal flattering

Smooth formula

Crease resistant

Long wearing

Rating: 5/5

Recommendation:  Yes. If you are looking for a versatile color for multipurpose usage, do try it. It will flatter Indian skin tones.
