My take on the NYX Matte Lipstick Sweet Pink: This baby comes in a plastic black tube with a transparent band like all the previous NYX Matte Lipstick that I’d reviewed. A sticker has been placed at the bottom of the tube. It is so lightweight and is easy to spot because of the transparent band between the tube.

Color: Sweet Pink is a fuchsia lipstick with little amount of blue undertone. I usually  don’t like blue based lipstick  but I can work with Sweet Pink as it also has some warmness to it. It is a toned down or a muted version of another matte lipstick from NYX in the name Shocking Pink which looks horrendous and makes me appear like an Indian version of Nikki Minaj  *lol* which I would be reviewing as well.

Texture: It has a matte texture but not drying as much as other matte lippies. It doesn’t drag during application as the formula is creamy and settles into a matte finish in a few seconds. It can be drying for some so exfoliation and a lip balm is required prior application.

Pigmentation: As seen on the swatches below, Sweet Pink goes opaque in a single swipe. Need I say more?

Staying power: It last for 4 to 5 hours with light snacking in between. It doesn’t survive heavy meals so a a touch up is needed. This lipstick tend to fade a bit after a couple of hours.
