My take on the Maybelline Color Show Creamy Matte Lipcolor M203 Hot Chili:

The packaging is similar to the Color Show lipsticks with the color-coded band but the only difference is that these matte lipcolors comes in matte casing while the Color Show Lipstick come in glossy tubes. The packaging is lightweight that clicks locks and a sticker has been placed at the bottom with the shade name printed on it.

Color: I went gaga over this shade at the counter and I had to have this in my life. Hot Chili is an apt name for this shade. It is a warm toned red that compliments my skin and brighten up my face in an instant. It would look amazing on all kinds of Indian skin color. This would be my go to lippy during the pujas for sure.

Texture: These matte lipcolor like I’d said earlier reminds me of the Revlon Matte Balm lippies. This has a satin texture which glides effortlessly and has no tugging or pulling on my lips. It sits comfortably without sucking the moisture out of my lips. The only problem that I have noticed in these lippies is that the darker colors wears and last better than the lighter shades which is quite patchy as well.

Pigmentation: A single swipe would cover up even the most pigmented lips like a dream. So 5/5 for the pigmentation. Hands down!

Scent: Delicious fruity candy scent!

Staying power: It stays on for 5 to 6 hours without bugging. It leaves a pretty tint behind which I personally don’t mind.
