The Texture of THE BODY SHOP Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil is just like translucent milky-white balm that melts into skin once you start massaging into skin. It is smoothing, gel–to-oil cleanser, almost greasy. The smooth thick gel cream like consistency spread easily on skin and give a good facial effect. It contains some very good ingredients for protecting dry skin; it not only cleanses but adds radiant and vitality to dull and tired skin.

Although it contains good ingredients i.e. 90% derived from natural ingredients and 70% Community Fair Trade ingredients but the fragrant oils it consists are potent irritants, and not good to use around the eyes. The first time I used it to remove eye makeup i.e. eyeliner and mascara, it stings my eyes badly and made them blurry. The burning effect is intolerable. Since then I avoided using this around my eyes. Instead use it as my morning cleanse.

The cleanser is oily enough to give back moisture retention. It makes my skin soft, smooth and moisturize each time I use it.  It’s great as a morning cleanse which make my skin soft, smooth and moisturize, and prepare skin for whole day. You just need pea size amount so don’t squeeze too much. It breaks down waterproof and non waterproof makeups in jiffy. Notes: Don’t forget to apply on dry skin and message in for 1-2 minutes. My advice is to remove with a wash cloth or good quality cotton pads not water, as it says on the bottle. Removing this just by splashing doesn’t help the residue can blog pores and leads to more spots.

“Claims to combat the first signs of ageing”: is just baffling around, although I don’t have fine lines and wrinkles but it has no effect on my mom. :/

@Shampita-http://gupshupavenue.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_bye.gif TBS states its for all skin types for yes for most oily skin ppl this might be extra greasy. Its important to use washcloth for all types of cleansing balms/gel-oil.
