HOW TO REACH MALAYSIA?

There are several flights that can reach you to your destination of dreams in a matter of few hours. Air Asia, Thai Airways, Sri Lankan Airlines and Biman Bangladesh are some of them. Board a flight from Kolkata to Kuala Lumpur. If you plan early and book your tickets 4 or 5 months in advance, a round trip can be as cheap as Rs 20,000 per person.

MALAYSIAN HONEYMOON ITINERARY

Well, you can always opt for the custom-made international honeymoon packages that well-known service providers like Make my trip, Yatra or Cox and Kings have to offer. A standard 5 nights 6 days trip would cost around 40,000 per person on twin sharing basis. This generally includes accommodation in a 2-star or 3-star hotel, airport transfers and complimentary breakfast.

Langkawi

LANGKAWI

Relax at the beach at Langkawi and enjoy the beauty of the rugged islands, because Langkawi is after all, ‘an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, some 30 km off the mainland coast of north-western Malaysia’. Marvel at the Dataran Lang, enjoy the breath-taking view of Kuah Bay, take a ride in the Langkawi cable car, lose yourself to the view of the beautiful islands and the rainforests from the Langkawi Sky Bridge, get inside the Underwater World Langkawi where you can see about 500 species of sea creatures and animals including sharks, harbour seals and rockhopper penguins and finally, go for some bird watching at Langkawi Bird Paradise. The Langkawi island hopping tour as well as journeying across the quaint villages and Malaysian countryside can be really exhilarating. Staying at Langkawi is a pleasure and you must stay there for at least 3 nights in order to make the most of your honeymoon trip. After all, you can’t always be on a hurricane tour and you should always set time aside to hold the hands of your loved one while marvelling at those dolphins and flying fish, go for a sunset dinner cruise, ride across the mangroves while on Kilim River cruise and relish sea bass, crabs and tiger prawns to your heart’s content.

Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR

To get the essence of Kuala Lumpur, you must spend at least 2 days and visit the iconic chrome and steel Petronas Towers, enjoy the spectacular view from the Menara KL Towers, visit the colourful and lively China town brimming with Oriental culture and heritage, witness the mythical Batu Caves and then unwind at the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, relish the local cuisine of the place with noodles, barbecued meat and desserts at Jalan Alor. Life at Kuala Lumpur is happening. Don’t forget to indulge in a high end fashion shopping spree at Bukit Bintang and KLCC areas.

Thus, add that spark to your honeymoon trip by going on an exotic Malaysian destination.  We know that often, international honeymoon trips costs a pretty penny. But after a big fat wedding, we can surely try to tailor it to suit the needs of our pocket without having to compromise on our dream of visiting an international destination. If you are lucky, you can even buy coupons and coupon codes to make your stay at top Malaysian hotels cheaper yet fulfilling!
