My take on Benefit The POREfessional Pro Balm:

This cutie is housed in a mint and white cardboard box with the benefit logo and a cute character  printed on it, which I’m guessingis the POREfessional Top Secret Agent who zaps away the appearance of pores and fine lines. SASSY! *lol*  The description about the product is mentioned on the box. The product comes sealed in a similar colored tube with a black screw lid that is convenient while on the go.

Color: It is light beige in shade that appears slightly tinted once applied.

Texture: Lightweight, soft and silky formula . It has a balm like creamy texture and spreads out evenly on my skin and offers a blurry effect. I have an extremely oily skin so the matte finish works well on me. Since it contains silicone, I have read reviews on how it gave a lot of oily skin lovelies some major breakouts. But it did well on my skin so I guess this primer works differently on each individual. If you are wondering if it tightens or shrinks open pores, then let me clear it here that it doesn’t. It just covers them well and gives a flawless blurry look.

Pigmentation and smell: It has a beige tint that would suit all kind of skin tones. I don’t know how to describe the smell but it has an amazing scent which I love.

Staying power: It locks my make up for 4 to 5 hours.It will last longer on normal to dry skinned beauties.

The good things:

Cute packaging

Silky texture

Even application

Suits all kind of skin tones

Covers pores and fine lines

Matte look

Long wearing

The bad things:

May cause breakout on acne prone skin

Availability can be an issue

Rating: 4.9/5

Recommendation: It’s amazing and one of the best primer in the market. If you are someone who doesn’t suffer from breakouts, then go for it.
