My take on the Maybelline Color Show Go graffiti Flower Power: The entire Color Show nail polishes range has the exact packaging. This little cutie too comes in a 6ml tiny bottle with the shade name printed on top of it. Even though the bottle is made out of glass, it doesn’t break easily making it travel friendly. I really love the cute packaging and it slips inside my purse easily.
Color: Flower power is a clear polish filled with millions of orange colored hexes, white dots and flowers. The flower is what excited me to get this shade but it’s a hassle to try to take even one of it out from the bottle. It can be applied over any coloured nail polishes as a topcoat and also can be used alone. As seen on the swatches below, I‘ve applied it in both the ways and they look equally pretty. I just wished the flowers were in a different color or maybe a tad smaller.
Texture: It has a gel like formula that glides smoothly over my nails. Like all the color show nail polishes, this too sets quick.
Staying power: It last for a good four to five days if layered with a topcoat. The flower and hexes tends to chip in two day when worn alone.
The good things:
Beautiful design
Gel texture
Great for nail art
Versatility
Dries fast
Price
The bad things:
Tends to chip within two days without topcoat
Removal is time consuming
Rating: 4.5/5
Recommendation: Yes, if you are a nail polish fanatic or are into nail art, this would be great addition to your vanity.
