My experience with M.A.C Satin Eye shadow Arena:

Packaging: This little baby comes packed in a circular black pan with a transparent flip top. The detail about the color is printed on a sticker and placed right at the bottom of the pan. The packaging is simple yet travel friendly since it is made out of plastic and fits easily in a tiny purse.

Color: It is a beautiful neutral champagne in color that has a frosty finish with no amount of shimmer. It can be worn both during the day and evening. The swatches below aren’t doing much justice to the shade. It is absolutely stunning and is versatile as it can be used as an eye shadow as well as a highlighter.

Texture: The formula is very soft and velvety. It applies smoothly over my lids without any kind of discomfort and dryness. It is one of the best formulas available for eye shadows as well as for blushes. There are no fallouts at all. I hate messy eye makeup.

Pigmentation: Great color payoff. I have used just a single swipe on my lid as seen on the eye swatches below. You can always play around with the opacity though.

Staying power: Long wearing and very comfortable. I wore it for an entire day without any primer and it stayed put.
